The Story
This was my first trip abroad with the fantastic Fujifilm X-T5 camera. I’d been in the Botanic Gardens in Singapore previously, and knew it would be an excellent place to document all kinds of extraordinary sights. I certainly wasn’t disappointed! It was a clear sunny day, so I headed out early to beat the heat – I took the Fuji X-T5, Sigma 18-50mm Contemporary zoom and a Manfrotto MVG300XM gimbal. There were all kinds of dragonflies buzzing around, but I stumbled upon this Crimson Marsh Glider resting in a nice open area and thought it would be an excellent way to test the autofocus feature on the X-T5. Overall, the autofocus worked very well, although there are a few small focus buzzes in this shot.
