The Story
This was my first time being at a ski hill in the off season. I guess I never saw the point, but we were there visiting family so I thought I’d tote along a camera package and slider, to see what I could shoot. It was quite beautiful, but I couldn’t help but feel an emptiness within – brought on by the idle chair lifts and noticeably absent blanket of snow. In the end, I didn’t manage to find much free time for shooting, but I did get out and about for a couple of hours. This video clip was shot using a RED Epic-W mounted on a Syrp slider, but I have no idea what lens I was using. Unfortunately, the metadata was no help either. During this brief stock footage setup, I placed the camera kit and slider near chair lifts at the top of the ski hill.
