The Story
Fall is always one of the best times of year to shoot video and stills. Autumn is ripe with rich, colorful foliage and falling maple leaves, like that seen in this stock footage, shot along the Shoreline Trail in Port Moody, BC. I wanted to capture as much of the environment as possible, so I took along the widest lens I had at the time, the Tokina Cinema 11-16mm zoom. I’ve always enjoyed the imagery captured with Tokina glass, be it stills or video, and this clip didn’t disappoint. This shot looks toward the Old Mill Site Park entrance to the shoreline, with the pioneer memories planter visible in the video… this might be a problem for location specific cutaways, but it should still work in many situations.
