The Story
The Coho Salmon run in Noons Creek every fall, and, without fail, I’ve been there to shoot stock footage of them spawning each year I’ve been in Port Moody. It’s a true example of the circle of life – an absolute inspiration to watch. When spawning in fresh water, the Coho have beautiful, rich, coloring, with dark spots along their back. More often than not, I take the RED Digital Epic-W with me to shoot these fine fish – swapping the lenses with each trip, to obtain different looks. I’ve been using the Canon CN-E Compact Servo zooms a lot lately, and have been very happy with the results. However, I suppose I’ll have to test out some new lenses at some point…
